LOYAL BEGGS

Born in Northeastern Ontario where he spent most of the last 55 years, Loyal moved to the Ottawa, Ontario area in 2019 where he works as a funeral director and maintains an active role in a very vibrant musical community.

Loyal obtained a Bachelors Degree in Music from Queen's University in 1990 and has been a sought after soloist in both Canada and the United States with performances in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, San Antonio Texas, New York City, Boston and points in between.

​

On the theatre stage he has played the role of Fagin in Oliver and most recently was Javert in Les Miserables in 2013 when the rights were released to the public.

​

A versatile performer Loyal is as comfortable with the charts  of Josh Groban and Michael Buble as he is with standard Classical Repertoire.

​

Music for church services, weddings, funerals, corporate and state functions  and national anthems are his specialty.

​

Depending on the situation and the music requested Loyal will supply an accompanist or will use recorded tracks.  Please note that costs for an accompanist are an additional fee as charged by the specific artist.  Loyal will also work with your musician if need be to ensure that you event is extra special.
